Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an original reader with a page turning device simplified in structure with a small number of parts, made compact and easily assembled, without the leakage of a current by constituting the electrifying roller of the page turning device of a roller part, a voltage applying part, a roller holding part and a housing part and covering the voltage applying part with an insulating material.
CONSTITUTION: The original reader with a page turning means is provided with an original reading means reading the image of the original page of a book original 100 following the movement of a carriage and the page turning means having a belt 34 sucking the original page of the book original 100, the electrifying roller 35 electrifying the belt 34 and a driving roller 31 for moving the belt 34 in a fixed direction. The electrifying roller 35 is constituted of the roller part 40 to which the voltage is applied to electrify the belt 34, the voltage applying part 50 supporting one end of the roller part 40, applying the voltage and covered with the insulating material, the roller holding part 60 supporting the other end of the roller part 40 and the housing part 70 engaged with the voltage applying part 50 and the roller holding part 60 and positioning the roller part 40.
