To provide an ornament excellent in a sense of fun which is capable of changing a speed of floating-up particles by adjusting the viscosity of a liquid with a low viscosity, and more realistically imaging a champagne glass and a beer glass.

The ornament is equipped with a liquid part 12 composed of a transparent or translucent raw material and filled with a liquid 20, a cover member 14 covering a part of the liquid part 12 and slidable in the up and down direction, and a pair of supporting plates 16 and 18 respectively provided on the upper end and the lower end of the liquid part 12 and capable of supporting the liquid part 12 under a vertical condition. The liquid part 12 is composed of an upper part 12A formed so as to be tapered from the upper end to the intermediate part, a lower part 12C formed so as to be tapered from the lower end to the intermediate part and having the same shape as that of the upper part 12A, and a communicating part 12B communicating the upper part 12A with the lower part 12C, and is filled with a number of particles 22 with a specific gravity lighter than that of the liquid 20. The cover part 14 has a height which is a half the height of the liquid part 12.
