PURPOSE: To prevent the rotation at the time of coupling with a female snap part by constituting the transverse section shape of an indentation part of a fitting projecting part of a male snap member, of a square part or an elliptical shape, or forming a projection in the indentation part.

CONSTITUTION: The transverse section shape of an indentation part 3 of a fitting projection part 2 of a male snap member 1 is constituted of a square part. In the case of the square part, as for its transverse section shape, a triangle, a square, and any shape except a circle are available. Also, it is allowed that the transverse section shape of the indentation part 3 is constituted of an elliptical shape, and moreover, a singular or plural projections 4 can be formed. In this state, an ornamental member 5 can be attached to either of the male snap member 1 or a female snap member 6, and as for its attachment, any means executed for various precious decorative articles and decorative articles up to the present can be used, and in accordance with a shape and a constitution of the ornamental member 5, it can be attached by simple adhesive means. In the case the ornamental member 5 is attached to the male snap member 1, the female snap member 6 is attached and fixed to a member 7 to be attached, such as clothes, a bag, etc.
