To provide an ornamental transparent block which is prevented from being deformed as a whole by permitting deformation and thermal expansion of a wax with a transparent solidifying material filled to enclose an ornament.
In the ornamental transparent block 50, ornaments 40, 41 and transparent paraffin wax 42 are filled in a transparent container 10, and an opening 11A of the transparent container 10 is blocked with a transparent lid 20. In a position inside from the open edge of the opening 11A of the transparent container 10, there is formed a flange 12 that is formed in a manner circulating along the open edge and that substantially reduces the open diameter of the opening 11A. The lid 20 is energized to come in contact with the entire upper face of the flange 12 and with the end face of the opening. As a result, when the paraffin wax 42 is thermally expanded, the pressure inside the transparent container 10 rises, preventing the ornamental transparent block 50 from being deformed.
