A melted colorless transparent soap base 1a is cooled in a cylindrical vessel. At a just moment when the inner transparent soap base 1c on the upper central side of the transparent soap base 1a is still melted and when the outer transparent soap base 1b on the wall face side is already solidified, a purplish aqueous solution 2 prepared by dissolving a dye in water is supplied in the melted inner transparent soap base 1c and stirred. Subsequently, the resultant soap base is left to cool and solidify the whole body of the soap. The solidified soap is then taken out from the vessel 10, and the outer peripheral part of the obtained transparent soap lump is cut with a knife, etc., to obtain an ornamental transparent soap which imitates a quarts crystal.
