Abstract:
To provide an orthodontic appliance in which an occlusal table is integrated with a Bimler device, for improving drawbacks of the Bimler device.SOLUTION: An orthodontic appliance 1 comprises: a Bimler device 2 which is detachably mounted in an oral cavity; and an occlusal table 3 coupled to the Bimler device. The Bimler device 2 comprises: a pair of U-shaped correction tools formed by integrally forming a correction part 22 for upper jaw and a correction part 23 for lower jaw by wires 24, 25; and a floor 21 contacted to teeth of a patient and held. The occlusal table is formed by integrally extending the floor of the Bimler device, and has a sufficient length to almost wholly cover at least the occlusal surface of any molar 50 of the patient in vertical and lateral positions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
