Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sufficient treatment effect by improving the sliding with a slot part of an arch wire in an orthodontic bracket.
SOLUTION: The sliding between the slot part and the arch wire is improved by arranging rotary bodies such as balls or rolls to the side wall surfaces and bottom surface of the slot part or the sliding between the twin-wing type bracket and the wire is improved by inserting a screw having a ball bearing embedded in the leading end thereof into the threaded part formed to the center part of the bracket. By this constitution, an orthodontic treatment period can be shortened.
