PURPOSE: To provide the orthodontic bracket for straightening teeth which can align the dentition in a short time.

CONSTITUTION: This orthodontic bracket 50 for alignment of the dentition is provided with a groove 54 piercing through a wire 52, the 1st support 55 and 2nd support 56 arranged at one side of the groove 54, and the 3rd groove 58 arranged at the other side of the groove 54. The three supports 55, 56, and 58 are formed so as to have the wire restriction surface determined by the 1st and 2nd supports to be wider than that determined by the 3rd support. The shape of the restriction space of wire forms a trapezoid R in the direction where these supports extend.
