Title:
OSCILLATING FIN PROPULSION SHIP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2799539
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a caudal fin propulsion ship possible to operate only by foot rowing without especially providing a rudder.
CONSTITUTION: A caudal fin part 3 is provided on a hull 2 free to oscillate through an elastic plate. In a cockpit 4 of the hull 2, a crank type pedal driving part 20 constituting a drive mechanism 19 is provided and made free to step on it, and driving force of this pedal driving part 20 is transmitted to a crank driving output part 22 through an adjustable-speed motor 21. On the crank driving output part 22, one ends of left and right wires 33A, 33B are fixed, and these wires 33A, 33B are extended through pulleys 34, 35, 37 and connected to the elastic plate of the caudal fin part 3. Consequently, when the pedal driving part 20 is rowed, the wires 33A, 33B are reciprocally driven to the opposite direction, the caudal fin part 3 is oscillated and driving force is generated.
