To use the oscillation of a wave effectively for highly efficient power generation by horizontally disposing a plurality of generating mechanisms in a hollow container so that the directions of the tracks of the respective generating mechanisms including a generator for generating power by means of the movement of a movable body moving on a linear track freely may differ from each other.
When ocean waves occur on a sea level, a hollow container 3 oscillates by the ocean waves, the tracks 13, 13' of a generating mechanism 12 disposed in the hollow container 3 tilt, and a movable body 14 is accelerated downward the tilting of the tracks 13, 13' by gravity for sliding. A chain 17 connected to the movable body 14 is rotated, and the rotating shafts 15a, 16a of generators 15, 16 are rotatingly driven for power generation. The axes of the tracks 13, 13' are shifted circumferentially respectively relative to the central axis of the hollow container 3, and disposed radially, therefore any generating mechanism 12 reciprocates even if the hollow container 3 is oscillated by waves of irregular and complex shape, thus it is possible to attain stable power generation at all times.
