Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillating spindle device in which an oscillating collar having a machining tool is pivotally supported on the eccentric part of a rotating shaft rotating at high speed.
SOLUTION: An eccentric shaft part 7E eccentric by a minute amount relative to the axis of a rotating shaft 7 is provided at the tip end part of the rotating shaft 7 supported rotatably on a holder main body 3, and a chuck device 13 capable of attaching/detaching and changing machining tools is installed on an oscillating collar 11 supported rotatably on the eccentric shaft part 7E. Then the rotating direction of the rotating shaft 7 and the rotating direction of the oscillating collar 11 are directed in the same or the reverse direction to each other, and the speed of the rotating shaft 7 is set higher than that of the oscillating collar 11.
