Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economize a quantity of hot water to be stored in a bathtub, and to attain the miniaturization and space reduction of an entire bath unit by enabling a bathing person, who is housed in the bathtub together with a wheelchair, to take a bath in a lying posture.
SOLUTION: The bathing person riding on a wheelchair 1 having a wagon 10 and a chair part 12 attachable to and detachable from the wagon 10 is housed from an opening to a prescribed position inside bathtubs 30 and 31 at least together with the chair part 12 in the configuration of the wheelchair 1, and afterwards, the inside closing the bathtubs 30 and 31 is filled with hot water. In such a bath unit 2, the wheelchair 1 is provided with the wagon 10 with casters 14, a supporting rod 11 erected on the wagon 10 to be attached/ detached by an attaching/detaching means 100 and the chair part 12 supported on the upper part of the supporting rod 11.
