PURPOSE: To make a frequency with respect to a temperature change stable by using the control voltage of a voltage controlled oscillation circuit(VCO) subjected to PLL(Phase locked loop) control and applying frequency compensation of the VCO.
CONSTITUTION: A control voltage causing an osicillated frequency in matching with the frequency of a reference oscillation circuit 14 including a temperature compensation voltage supplement is applied to the frequency control input 11 of the 2nd voltage controlled variable frequency oscillating circuit [Voltage Controlled frequency Oscillator(VCO)] 10. The control voltage is applied to the frequency control input 4 of a 1st VCO 3 to allow the 1st VCO 3 to be subjected to frequency control with temperature compensation in addition. On the other hand, a 1st VCO 3 is not placed in the PLL loop and the phase of the oscillated output depends simply on an oscillation enable signal input 8, thereby keeping the function of an intermittent oscillation circuit. Thus, the oscillation circuit of intermittent operation with high frequency stability against temperature fluctuation is obtained.
