Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attain a square wave oscillator which can be completely formed as an integrated circuit and is capable of reducing frequency variation against temperature changes. CONSTITUTION: An oscillation circuit provided with improved frequency characteristics is provided. The oscillation circuit includes a buffer 102 for amplifying an output signal and providing positive feedback, an inverter 106 for providing negative feedback to induce oscillation, capacitive voltage dividing circuits 110, 112 for charge storage, a resistor 116 for enabling controlled discharge, and a diode circuit 114 for providing the stability of frequency. Since the stability of frequency is attained by the circuit included in the oscillation circuit, necessity for trimming resistors at the time of manufacturing can be eliminated. The voltage dividing resistor circuit removes parasitic charge injection.
