Abstract:
To provide an atomic oscillator with excellent oscillating characteristics and to provide an electronic apparatus having the same.
The atomic oscillator 1 includes a gas cell 21 in which gas-like alkali metal atoms are sealed; a light emission section 22 that emits exciting light for exciting alkali metal atoms in the gas cell 21; an atomic oscillator 2 having a light detection section 23 that detects exciting light permeating through the gas cell 21; and a temperature control type oscillator 3 with a crystal oscillator 31. A plurality of components 8 including the gas cell 21, the light emission section 22, the light detection section 23 and the crystal oscillator 31 are disposed to be thermally coupled with each other.
