Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make an easy and accurate characteristic adjustment of an oscillator and to simplify the production process in the oscillator module and its adjustment method.
CONSTITUTION: In the oscillator module, inductance elements of an oscillation section is incorporated in a multi-layered substrate 1 which is covered with a shield cap 2. A GND pattern 5 is set outside the substrate 1, and at least one part of the GND pattern 5 is left uncovered. One part of the exposed GND pattern 5 can be used as a trimming section 6, adjusting the characteristic by performing the trimming after covering the shield cap 2.
