Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillator capable of highly accurately detecting level of oscillation output in the oscillator for outputting microwaves and millimeter waves.SOLUTION: In a Gunn diode oscillator 10 for oscillating a Gunn diode 4 to output microwaves, output level of the microwaves is detected via a coupler 7 electromagnetically coupled to an open stub line 3 in an oscillation circuit. Due to this, energy of standing waves formed in the open stub line 3 can be directly detected, and an output value of the microwaves or millimeter waves can be correctly detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
