Abstract:

To cool a supercharger side and an engine side to respective appropriate temperatures, and downsize an outboard engine unit.

The cooling device 50 of the outboard engine unit includes a cooling water passage 51 for delivering cooling water from a water pump 45. The cooling water passage is branched into a first passage 52 for cooling a cylinder block 57 and a cylinder head 61 of an engine 11 and a second passage 54 for cooling a case 68 of a supercharger 53. Since the cooling water passage is branched into the first passage at the engine side needed to be cooled at a low temperature and the second passage at the supercharger side to be cooled for maintaining a relatively high temperature, the engine side and the supercharger side can be cooled to respective appropriate temperatures. The supercharger can be cooled to an appropriate temperature.
