Abstract:
To easily lock an engine cover to an undercover while suppressing the influence on exterior design of an outboard engine or the risk of damage.SOLUTION: An outboard engine 1 includes an engine 2 and an engine storage cover 3 for forming a storage space 3a for storing the engine 2. The engine storage cover 3 includes: an undercover 31 for storing the engine 2; an engine cover 32 attached to the undercover 31 so as to cover an upper part of the engine 2; and a plurality of lock units 7 provided on a connection unit 33 of the undercover 31 and the engine cover 32 facing a storage space 3a for fixing the engine cover 32 to the undercover 31. The plurality of lock units 7 have an interlock mechanism 73 provided to be simultaneously locked by a single locking operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
