To provide an outboard engine whose idle exhaust port can be arranged at a higher position while increase in the number of components is suppressed, and which is capable of following vibration.
An outboard engine includes an engine, a casing 3, and an exhaust tube 31. The casing 3 forms a main exhaust passage which leads exhaust air of engine to a main exhaust port arranged in the water and a part of idle exhaust passage 30 which leads exhaust air in main exhaust passage to an idle exhaust port 29 which opens in the atmospheric air. An exhaust tube 31 includes an upstream end connected to a casing 3 and a downstream end which is arranged above the upstream end and forms the idle exhaust port 29. The exhaust tube 31 is formed of a flexible material having flexibility and is an unified body from the upstream end to the downstream end.
