Title:
OUTBOARD ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2015209014
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard engine which enables easy assembly work while achieving improvement of the engine efficiency.SOLUTION: An outboard engine includes: an upstream side duct 41 fixed to an engine cover 24; and a downstream side duct 42 fixed to the engine side. The upstream side duct 41 includes a first duct 41a and a second duct 41b. A suction port 43 which communicates with an outer air intake port through a suction space 71 is formed in the first duct 41a. A discharge port 45 is provided on a side surface of the second duct 41b. The downstream side duct 42 includes a third duct 42a and a fourth duct 42b. A suction port 46 is provided on a side surface of the third duct 42a facing the discharge port 45 so as to be spaced a predetermined distance away from the discharge port 45. A discharge port communicating with a throttle body is formed in the fourth duct 42b. The outboard engine is formed so as to prevent the second duct 41b of the upstream side duct 41 and the third duct 42a of the downstream side duct 42 from overlapping with each other in a plan view.
