Title:
OUTBOARD ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2022018645
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To retain an outboard engine body in a high position separated from a water surface as much as possible in a full tilt-up position.SOLUTION: A top coupling pin is positioned in a lower limit position which is below a tilt shaft when an outboard motor body is positioned in a full trim in position. When the outboard motor body is in the full tilt-up position, the top coupling pin is positioned in an upper limit position which is higher than the tilt shaft. The top coupling pin is rotated at a first rotational angle around the tilt shaft from a lower limit position to a horizontal position which is the same height as the tilt angle. The top coupling pin is rotated around the tilt shaft at a second rotational angle from the horizontal position to the upper limit position. The second rotational angle is greater than the first rotational angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
