Abstract:
To provide an outboard engine which enables efficient cooling of a cooling oil of a motor.SOLUTION: An outboard engine includes: a motor 14 housed in a top cover 11; a vertical shaft 18 which is housed in an extension case 12 and rotationally driven by the motor 14; and a propeller 21 which is provided at a gear case 13 and rotationally driven by the vertical shaft 18. A heat exchange member 40 located below an anti-cavitation plate 37 and above a propeller shaft 20 which rotationally drives the propeller 21 is provided. A cooling oil passage member 55 in which a cooling oil for cooling the motor 14 flows is provided within the heat exchange member 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
