Abstract:
To provide an outboard engine which enables efficient cooling of a cooling oil of a motor.SOLUTION: An outboard engine includes: a motor 14 housed in a top cover 11; a vertical shaft 18 which is housed in an extension case and rotationally driven by the motor 14; and a propeller 21 which is provided at a gear case 13 and rotationally driven by the vertical shaft 18. A heat exchange part 40 is provided at a front inner part of the gear case 13. An inflow side oil passage 42 and an outflow side oil passage 46 in which a cooling oil for cooling the motor 14 flows are formed within the heat exchange part 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
