Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly arrange an intake branch pipe and a paper separator tank, considering the output or function by arranging the intake branch pipe of an intake manifold on one advancing directional side of a cylinder block, and arranging the paper separator tank on the other advancing directional side.
SOLUTION: An engine 14 comprises a paper separator tank 106 for separating the fuel vapor gas within a fuel supplying passage on the other advancing directional side of a cylinder block 20, which is opposite to one advancing directional side of the cylinder block 20 where the intake branch pipe 62 of an intake manifold 58 is arranged. According to this, the intake branch pipe 62 and the paper separator tank 106 can be properly arranged, considering the output or function. In this outboard motor 2, a compact engine with high output can be realized.
