Abstract:
To provide an outboard engine capable of detaching a tilt trim unit for oscillating an outboard engine body back and forth, in narrow space.SOLUTION: A lower shaft (30) is inserted into a pair of right and left bearing units (21b, 22b) positioned on a bottom end of a clamp bracket (20) and a bearing unit (42) on a bottom end of a tilt trim unit (40). Length (La) of the bearing unit (42) of the tilt trim unit (40) with a tilt cylinder (41) for oscillating an outboard engine body back and forth is approximately the same length as length of outer diameter (La) of the tilt cylinder (41), the pair of right and left bearing units (21b, 22b) of the clamp bracket (20) are positioned adjacently on both ends of the bearing unit (42) of the tilt trim unit (40), and the lower shaft (30) is fixed with one end having rotation to the clamp bracket (20) restricted and the other end fastened to the clamp bracket (20).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
