Abstract:
To provide an outdoor detection device that has a structure for directly discharging water and dew condensation intruded into a main body of an apparatus while achieving prevention of intrusion of a specific intruder, and further improves design freedom without restricting appearance design.SOLUTION: The outdoor detection device has a function unit having a detection element and a processing circuit and includes: a cover unit including an inner cover having a predetermined size and housing the function unit therein and an outer cover housing the inner cover therein; and a base unit. The inner cover has a water intrusion prevention structure for preventing water from entering from the outside of the inner cover between the function unit and an optical member, and further includes a drain hole on a bottom wall and a guiding unit for guiding the water toward the drain hole. A bottom wall of the outer cover has a prescribed gap relative to the bottom of the inner cover, a drain unit for draining water from the drain hole to the outside of the outdoor detection device, and an invisible structure that covers the drain hole of the inner cover and in which the drain hole cannot be visually recognized from the outside of the outdoor detection device in a downward view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
