Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the visual recognizability of a display from being extremely degraded even when a display device is installed in the east and west direction.
SOLUTION: This device is for making display of information such as characters and videos with electric lighting, and has a display board with electric lighting 10 on which LED lamps 111 are mounted when the angle of elevation of the sun in the state that the sun enters the visual field of a person viewing the display apart a prescribed distance therefrom is defined as A, a rear side sensor section 20 which is arranged in a position where the sunlight cast toward the back of the display board 10 can be received and which detects the angle of elevation of the sun and first luminance control section 41 which makes the luminance of the electric light display higher than ordinary when the angle of elevation of the sun detected by the rear side sensor section 20 is A or below A.
