In an outside machine (11), a ceiling plate (43) is supported to the external periphery of a casing (40). A motor base (90) comprises: a motor base body (91) which vertically extends toward the ceiling plate (43) from the lower part of the casing (40), and is attached with a fan motor (17); and an upper end (92) which extends to the outside end of the ceiling plate (43) along the ceiling plate (43) from the upper end of the motor base body (91), is positioned so as to cover the upper end of an outdoor heat exchanger (23), forms a first clearance (101) between the ceiling plate (43) and itself, and forms a second clearance (103) between the upper end of the outdoor heat exchanger (23) and itself. In the first clearance (101), a first seal material (100) is arranged at only the side of the outside end of the ceiling plate (43).
