A backing layer formed on the ground surface by fixing to the ground surface in a heat exchangeable manner and a snow layer consisting of natural snow and/or artificial snow laid on the backing layer are provided thereby restricting the melting of snow in this outdoor skiing field, and this backing layer is formed by using a material having a large heat storing capacity and permitting the formation and maintenance of the backing layer without requiring special means.
