Abstract:
To provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioner cleaning air exhausted from an outdoor heat exchanger and also cleaning the atmosphere.
The outdoor unit 1 for the air conditioner comprising a compressor 11, the outdoor heat exchanger 14 and a blower fan 16 is provided with an electrolytic water producing unit 17 producing electrolytic water by electrolyzing water, and an electrolytic water supply unit 18 supplying the electrolytic water to fins 14A of the outdoor heat exchanger 14 during the operation of the blower fan 16.
