To provide an outdoor unit of an air conditioner in which a thermistor can not be directly touched from the external, and can not be demounted without using a tool.
This outdoor unit of the air conditioner includes a suction grille 5 mounted in a state of covering an air inlet formed on a casing of the outdoor unit, and a thermistor storage section 3 fixed to an upper part of the suction grille 5 and receiving the thermistor 37 detecting an outside air temperature. The thermistor storage section 3 has a holding section 30 holding the thermistor 37 and opened at its front face, and a cover section 33 rotatably mounted on a lower part of the holding section 30 at one end, and having a knob section 35 at the other end in such a manner that the knob section 35 is positioned at an upper part of the suction grille 5 when the front opening of the holding section 30 is covered, and the knob section 35 of the cover section 33 is fitted inside of a top board when the top board is mounted on an upper part of the casing.
