This outdoor unit for the refrigeration cycle device is provided with an outdoor side heat exchanger, an outdoor blower, the compressor, the battery serving as the power source of the compressor, a water level detecting means, or the like. When the water level detecting means detects water immersion into the outdoor unit, discharge is induced from the battery.
