Title:
OUTER BLADE OF ELECTRIC SHAVER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5453062
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the durability of shaving power by making small holes for radiating the frictional heat at the crossings of the outer edge grid.

CONSTITUTION: A number of apertures 1 are made on outer edge 5, and holes small enough not to allow a hair to enter are made on each area 3 where beam 2 between aperture 1, 1 intersect. At the time of shaving, as inner edge touches outer edge namely beam 2 and move at a high speed, much firctional heat is generated. However, generation of heat can be lowered by samll holes 6 which fairly effect emitting of heat on the whole outer ede 5. By small holes 6's existance on the intersection part 3, stress on the intersecion part 3 produced by application of bending stress on outer edge 5 can be dispersed and a higher flexibility can be gained. As a result, it is remarkable that an electric shaver can hold a shaving power for a long time
