Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control cable which is light weight and capable of being easily wired, and an outer casing for the control cable.SOLUTION: A control cable outer casing 10 comprises: a resin tubular member 14 having a tubular resin layer; and two metal wires 18 buried in said resin tubular member resin layer in parallel with the axial direction of said resin tubular member and at a position symmetric to an axis. The control cable outer casing 10 satisfies the following formulas (1) and (2), when the external diameter of said resin tubular member has an external diameter D (mm), and when the spacing of said two metal wires is A (mm). (1) 1.5≤D≤4, and (2) 0.5D≤A≤0.7D.
