CONSTITUTION: The outer pressure tester for pipe comprises a tubular drum body 6 covering the outer periphery of a pipe 1 to be tested, and annular end part bodies 7, 8 being fitted over the pipe 1 at the opposite ends thereof and coupled detachably with the drum body 6 at the opposite ends thereof. Sealing materials 19, 23 are applied to the joints of the drum body 6 and the end part bodies 7, 8 and sealing materials 27, 31 are applied between the inner circumferential surface of the end part bodies 7, 8 and the outer circumferential surface of the pipe 1 to be tested.
