Abstract:
To provide an outer rotor type motor that prevents water or dust from entering a motor.SOLUTION: An outer rotor type motor 1 for an unmanned aerial vehicle includes a rotating unit 10 having a shaft 11 that rotates about a central axis C that extends vertically, a bearing 20 that supports the shaft, and a stationary unit 30 having a housing 31 supporting the bearing. The rotating unit includes a magnet 12 and a rotor yoke 13 that holds the magnet on the radially inner surface. The stationary unit includes a stator 32 located radially inside of the magnet, a base unit 33 located axially below the stator to support the housing, and a lower seal member 34 fixed to the outer end of the base unit located at the radially outer end of the base unit. The lower seal member radially faces the radially inner surface of the rotor yoke.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
