Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior wall structure of a building without much increase in a number of components for securing a ventilation layer in the exterior wall.SOLUTION: Intermediate posts 34, 36 are installed on an indoor 26 side of an exterior wall material 50 of a unit building 12, in a horizontal direction along the exterior wall material 50 leaving a prescribed interval therebetween. The intermediate posts 34, 36 have metallic ventilation furring strips 40, 42 fixed thereon, respectively. By forming the ventilation furring strips 40, 42 with a metal, the ventilation furring strips 40, 42 provide strength sufficient for supporting exterior wall materials 50, 52, respectively, allowing the exterior wall materials 50, 52 to be fixed on the ventilation furring strips 40, 42, respectively. Thus, the ventilation furring strips 40, 42 for securing a ventilation layer 66 may also be used as members for supporting the exterior wall materials 50, 52, thereby suppressing increase in a number of components.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
