To provide an outlet with excellent workability in which an optical fiber cable inside a wall can be wired directly to an optical connection access of the outlet and is multifunctioned without affecting the electric connection access for use in an electric power source and a telephone.
The outlet to be arranged on a wall surface includes: an outlet box 22 for housing electric wiring and optical wiring; a mounting frame for mounting an electric connection access and an optical connection access; and a cover plate 23 for covering the mounting frame. An optical connector is directly attached to an end of an optical fiber cable. On the mounting frame, there is mounted an optical insertion housing 27 that houses and holds a connecting adaptor to which the optical connector is attached. The optical insertion housing 27 is designed to have a shape projecting from the cover plate 24 so that the optical connection access 26a of the connecting adaptor 26 faces obliquely downward.
