Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output variation suppression device enabled to improve fuel economy by eliminating a need to minutely adjust an amount of step-on of an accelerator pedal.SOLUTION: An output variation suppression device includes: drive means 3 for transmitting drive force to a drive wheel 6 of a vehicle C1; accelerator output control means 17 for executing accelerator output control for causing the drive means to output an output value based on an amount θa of step-on of an accelerator pedal; constant output control means 18 for executing constant output control so that, when an amount of step-on of the accelerator pedal by a driver falls between a range of an increase-side threshold θaA of the amount of step-on of the accelerator pedal and a decrease-side threshold θaB thereof, where the aforementioned two thresholds are set sandwiching a given amount θa of step-on of the accelerator pedal, the drive means outputs a constant amount θa of step-on of the accelerator pedal within the aforementioned range; switchover means 14 for switching over between the accelerator output control and constant output control by a manual operation of the driver; and determination means 22 for determining a constant output value by defining an amount of step-on of the accelerator pedal when the switchover means has changed from the accelerator output control to constant output control as a given amount of step-on of the accelerator.
