Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output circuit that can output even a high speed input signal with high accuracy and low power consumption, while amplifying the amplitude of high frequency components of the input signal.SOLUTION: An output circuit having an emphasis function includes a parallel/serial conversion circuit for converting an inputted parallel signal to a serial signal, a pattern discrimination circuit for determining whether or not the parallel signal includes a predetermined data string, and an emphasis circuit for adjusting the amplitude of the serial signal, based on first coefficients according to the determination results from the pattern discrimination circuit, before outputting as an output signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
