PURPOSE: To output data of required items only so as to make maintenance and inspection of a device efficiently, by selectively reading out control data required for operation and maintaining the device.
CONSTITUTION: For example, data such as date, copying number, paper size, etc., are monitored by a control section 12 as data required for operation and maintaining a copying machine and these data are logged in a data memory 14 as working data. When a specific code is inputted from a key input device 16 under a no-copying condition, a check mode is set and a copy inhibiting flag is stood. When code input is further performed under this condition, data of items to be outputted only are outputted to a CRT18 or printer 24. Therefore, data required for making maintenance and inspection of the device only can be fetched without outputting data of unnecessary items and the work can be performed efficiently.
