PURPOSE: To surely inform a user of call termination to a telephone set even at the time of listening to broadcasting and to prevent the decline of the quality of broadcasting sound due to the noise of a telephone system power source.

CONSTITUTION: While a tuner circuit 15 is operated, when a control circuit 11 recognizes that a reception circuit 2 receives calling signals, a changeover switch 16 is switched to the side of a terminal (b) and call termination sound is outputted from a call termination sound generation circuit 7. By outputting the call termination sound in this case from the speaker 19 of a tuner system, the user listening to the broadcasting is surely made to listen to the call termination sound. When the reception circuit 2 is in a reception state (including standby reception,) receiving the operation of a panel part 20, the control circuit 11 operates the tuner circuit 15, simultaneously stops the ON/OFF control of a power source switch 22, keeps an ON state, continues the supply of power to a telephone system, prevents the noise due to the intermittent supply of the power from entering the tuner system and prevents the decline of the quality of the broadcasting sound.
