Title:
OUTPUT SHAFT LOCKING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3798893
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate chuck hand-fastening work, tool holding work, and the like so as to improve operability by locking an output shaft automatically at the time of stop on the driving side, and releasing lock automatically by rotation on the driving side.
SOLUTION: When the rotation of a motor shaft in a driving state is stopped, the rotation of an output shaft precedes a carrier due to large inertia on the output shaft side, and mutual play angles θ in a connecting fit-in part 27 retrograde so as to release regulation of pins 30, 30 of locking plates 21, 21 regulated by cam holes 29, 29 on the carrier 15 side. The locking plates 21, 21 are therefore shifted into outer lock positions by the energizing force of springs 22, 22, and locking claws 31 are meshed with a gear 33 of a fixed internal tooth ring 23 to obtain a lock state. At the time of driving the output shaft in the lock state, the motor shaft is rotated in a specified direction. The locking plates 21, 21 are therefore shifted against the springs 22, 22 by the action of the cam holes 29, 29, and the locking claws 31 come off the gear 33 to release the lock state.
