An outrigger device 1 includes a beam 10, a rod 20, a float 25, a spherical joint 30 for connecting the rod 20 and the float 25, and a holding member 70 mounted to the spherical joint 30 and the beam 10. The spherical joint 30 includes a rod side spherical joint 40 and a float side spherical joint 50. The holding member 70 restricts the rotation around a rod shaft 20a of the float side spherical joint 50. The float side spherical joint 50 includes a spherical joint side contact portion 54 disposed on the side opposite to the storage position S of the float 25 against the rod shaft 20a. The beam 10 includes a beam side contact portion 14 disposed so that the same makes contact with the spherical joint side contact portion 54 if the extended amount of the rod 20 is a predetermined amount or less.
