Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the abrasion resistance of a contact face of a roller groove contact edge part of a frame, by providing a driving means for rotating a tool head or the frame for relatively rotating the roller around an outer peripheral face of a workpiece, and mounting a tool tip to a tool roller contact edge part of the roller, groove.
SOLUTION: A tool roller 1 is rotated at a high speed inside of a roller groove, and a roller groove rear edge face is pressed by the feed force Pf. As a countermeasure for the abrasion of this area, a tool tip 36 is mounted. The tool tip 36 has a structure that it is inserted into a contact face of a contact edge part inside the device, of a roller groove from an outer peripheral direction of a frame 3, and it can be changed for a short time without using a special tool. Further a tool steel heated for high hardness or the like, is used in the tool tip 36, and the hardness of the tool tip 36 is set to be slightly lower than that of the tool roller 1 for inhibiting the abrasion of the tool roller 1. Further the tool tip 36 has mirror finished a rotary contact face for reducing the frictional force and suppressing the advancing of the abrasion.
