Abstract:

To provide an outsole 2 easy of production although it is formed from a plurality of areas.

The shoe outsole 2 is molded from a rubber composition and has a main body 4 and a large number of projections 5 projected from the main body 4. The main body 4 has grooves 6a, bases 7, and blocks 8. The block 8 on the bottom surface of the main part 4 is separated from the base 7 by the groove 6. In the production of the outsole 2, the first rubber composition is packed in a molding mold to mold the blocks 8. Next, burrs are removed from the blocks 8. Next, the second rubber composition different in color from the first rubber composition is packed in the mold to mold the bases 7 and the projections 5. The difference in height H between the block 8 and the groove 6 adjacent to the block 8 is 2.0-4.0 mm.
