To provide an overrotation suppressing controller for hybrid car which can secure the reliability on the durability of a power source by suppressing the overrotation of an engine and a motor regardless of the charge state of a battery in case that the car velocity goes up higher than the preset car velocity.

A hybrid car, which has an engine E and at least one motor for its power source and is equipped with a driving force synthesizing transmission TM having a differential gear where the power source and an output shaft OUT are connected with each other, is provided with an overrotation suppressing control means which increases the quantity of motor cooling oil for cooling the above motor when the car velocity rises higher than the preset car velocity.
