Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce manufacturing cost, attaching cost and maintenance cost by providing a guiding system for vertically guiding a bowl housing baggage with a lever, a gear and two segment gears.
CONSTITUTION: This guiding system is provided with a gear 13 in its middle part, and a lever 5 pivotally supporting first and second segment gears 6 and 7 engaged with the gear 13 in both ends. The lever 5 is rotatably supported in a casing 3 at the connecting point 11 of one end side, and the second segment gear 7 is pivotally supported to be coaxial to the connecting point 11. The other end side of the lever 5 is supported by a bowl 2 at a connecting point 12, and the first segment gear 6 is pivotally supported to be coaxial to the connecting point 12. To assist the force of a passenger during a closing process, a gas spring 8 is disposed in the guiding system, and to prevent the rapid high place rotation of the bowl 2, a shock buffer element 15 is provided between the side end part of the bowl 2 and a fixed stationary point.
