PURPOSE: To prevent an overhead line from receiving heat damage at the time of a thunderbolt, and to prevent a fact that an optical communication line is deformed by a clamping member and a transmission loss is increased, by clamping and fixing the optical communication line to an overhead line by the clamping member through a heat insulating layer.
CONSTITUTION: An overhead line 10 to which an optical communication line is added is constituted of an optical communication line 12 and an overhead line 14. The optical communication line 12 is provided along with the overhead line 14 such as an overhead earth wire or an overhead transmission line. The optical communication line 12 is covered with a heat insulating layer 16 at suitable intervals, and said optical communication line 12 is clamped and fixed to the overhead line 14 by a clamping member 18 through said heat insulating layer 16. According to such a constitution, even if the overhead line 14 becomes a high temperature due to a thunderbolt, the optical communication line 12 receives no heat damage owing to the heat insulating layer 16, and also since the heat insulating layer 16 operates as a buffer material to the clamping member 18, the optical communication line 12 is not deformed.
